Atomic eating habits | Breakfast plan | Food variety feat. Lucy Kelly
Atomic Eating habits – how to make a few little changes to your nutrition and lifestyle that will transform your health. It’s early April here in the South of France and the sun is shining although rather remarkably it actually snowed here yesterday and lots of us potager vegetable patch gardeners were then all worried about our fledgling plants.
WE TALK WITH LUCY KELLY
We are still in the pandemic and in France we have just gone into another lockdown. For many 2020 was a hard year health and diet wise as gyms shut, restaurants closed and socialising was seriously curbed. That’s why we decided to bump forward this episode and run it as a nutrition and health mini series to inspire, motivate and share as much as possible and get ourselves moving and grooving again!
So in a previous episode we had Susie and she actually put me in touch with Lucy Kelly .
Please listen in to Lucy Kelly with some great tips on how to boost your meals and get that immunity topped up.
Today we are going to chat about how studies in BioChemistry led to the markets in the Fontville in Cannes and helping us locally but also now globally with nutrition.
My big takeway from this was to break things down into manageable smaller atomic habits. So for me a breakfast plan will be on the menu as I think that is something that we can organise easily and get the whole family involved in.
Wherever you are listening to this, I hope that you will let us know what atomic eating habits you will be doing and do come and join the challenge we are setting up in the Cote d’Azur Living group to get a variety of 30 into your weekly diet, it sounds a lot so listen in to how you can make that happen.

- Finding your way is a podcast for those going through some of life’s transitions and challenges as one reaches mid life ..
I really enjoyed listening to the podcast with Lucy Kelly. She gives some brilliant tips for organising food around a busy family life and also encouraging everyone to add more variety in our everyday eating. I am now off to select a dusty cookery book and pick some different dishes to cook!
I found this podcast interesting and will definitely try some of the suggestions, especially trying different vegetables/fruit, varying my breakfast and using a cook book I haven’t used in a while, I’m a fan of Nigel Slater! Fortunately I enjoy a healthy diet. Lucy’s suggestions have helped me in the past combating anxiety, sleep depravation and maintaining a healthy, average weight.
